Saturday, November 4, 2017 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Cultural diversity is an important topic in our national dialogue. Many individuals are looking for a deeper understanding of the experience of oppressed group members. We aim to meet this need by providing an interactive presentation exploring the basics of systemic privilege and oppression. Specifically, we will explore factors contributing to racial oppression, with particular emphasis on the experience of Latino immigrants. The presentation will detail ways in which we can advocate for the oppressed groups and work to combat systemic injustice.
