The Panhellenic Association is the governing body of the eight National Panhellenic Conference sororities at UNT. Panhellenic is an organization established to foster inter-fraternal relationships, to help collegiate chapters of the National Panhellenic Conference member groups and to assist in maintaining the highest scholastic and social standards. The council enables the sororities to work together more effectively on campus.
All eight Panhellenic sororities participate in formal primary recruitment. Primary fall recruitment kicks off with a mandatory orientation session on August 20th at 3:00 pm in the Lyceum in the University Union. Primary recruitment is a week-long event that ends with Bid Night ceremonies. Families and friends are welcome to attend the Panhellenic Bid Day ceremony at the Sorority Courtyard on campus. Incoming freshman will have an opportunity to learn about Panhellenic Recruitment and each individual chapter through New Student Orientation and First Flight Week.
Registration is REQUIRED to participate and early registration is highly encouraged.
