About this Event
View map Free EventCourse Description
This course will present students with a simple problem that can be solved by creating a custom 3D part. Spark staff will demonstrate the basics of OnShape modelling before making time for the students to create their solution and then print the solutions to check how they solve the problem. Students will be able to observe and follow along with the staff instructor on Spark computers and will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned on basic projects.
Course Goals and Objectives
The goal of the course is to have students develop and enrich their understanding of OnShape so that they can apply this knowledge towards using OnShape to design custom 3D printed solutions. By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Create and open projects for 3D design,
Import existing 3D files into OnShape,
Manipulate existing or imported 3D files on a basic level,
Export finished projects into usable filetypes, and
Check the usefulness of their solution as a 3D printed part.
