A hands-on summer camp for students interested in exploring ways in which artificial intelligence technologies can be used to boost our creativity, help us organize our work, and solve major problems in our world. Through interactive projects and experimentation, students will discover how AI can be a powerful tool for productivity, learning, and creative expression throughout their lives. Major outcomes for the camp include developing the ability to:
Use AI tools effectively and ethically to research, summarize, and brainstorm ideas.
Enhance creativity by generating art, music, and multimedia projects with AI assistance.
Organize and analyze information using AI to support planning and problem-solving.
Evaluate AI outputs and processes critically in order to understand both the capabilities and limitations of current tools.
About
All UNT College of Information Summer Camps are a week-long, day camp experience designed to introduce students to technology, information science, and emerging fields like AI in a fun, engaging environment.
Camp sessions are led by trained UNT college student instructors and counselors, who are supported by university personnel to ensure a safe and enriching experience.
