We are excited to announce that Guest Artist, Dr. Gigi Perez-Langely, is bringing her show “The Mat” to the Black Box on Sept. 5 and 6! 

 “The Mat” is a one-woman performance exploring the ways martial arts and performance studies intertwine during life's most complicated turns. Dr. Gigi explores martial arts and storytelling as a way to understand her position as a mother, a martial artist, an academic, and a breast cancer survivor.
