This exciting and interactive summer camp combines the power of data analysis with the art of storytelling. Students will learn how to use Python, a beginner-friendly yet powerful programming language, to process, analyze, and visualize data. Through hands-on projects and engaging activities, participants will discover how data shapes the world around us, learn essential skills in Python programming and data analysis, uncover hidden insights in datasets and transform them into compelling stories, and create visualizations to communicate ideas effectively. By the end of the camp, students will have developed their own data-driven stories, showcasing their skills to friends, family, and peers. 
 

No prior programming knowledge is needed.

About
All UNT College of Information Summer Camps are a week-long, day camp experience designed to introduce students to technology, information science, and emerging fields like AI in a fun, engaging environment.
Camp sessions are led by trained UNT college student instructors and counselors, who are supported by university personnel to ensure a safe and enriching experience.
