DAY HIKE - Registration open May 11th-25th

Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, TX

Join us to explore 4,000 acres of Texas’s newest state park just outside DFW and check out it’s special collection of rock formations, plants, animals, and habitats.

Starting early in the morning, we will drive together as a group to the Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. Once we arrive, we’ll unload our gear and begin a hike through the park. After hiking, we’ll take a break to eat lunch (please bring your own meal), then pack up and head back to UNT by mid to late afternoon.

Upon registering for this trip, you will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting on May 26th from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Here you will meet your trip leaders and fellow participants, receive more in-depth information about the trip and what to bring, and provide our staff with medical and emergency contact information.
