The UNT College of Health & Public Service Department of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Preschool Speech and Language Group promotes developmentally appropriate speech, language, and social skills through play-based interactions with children who have mild to moderate communication difficulties. The program consists of one-hour sessions two days per week. There are morning and afternoon groups beginning January 20.

It involves:

• Multi-modality therapeutic activities.
• Individualized approaches with social and peer interactions.
• One-to-one ratios in groups up to four children.
• A range of ages: placement depends on developmental functioning.
• Strategies and teaching using evidence-based practice by graduate student clinicians (supervised by speech-language pathologists)
