#Mid-Career Faculty Learning Community; Faculty SuccessPlease join us for a delicious lunch, coffee/tea, and dessert while exploring effective strategies for long-term academic career development!
Early- and mid-career UNT faculty navigate a campus, system, and higher education environment rich with opportunities—but many take on teaching, service, and even research assignments without a clearly defined career development plan. Academic Career Mapping for UNT Faculty will introduce key academic literature on mid-career faculty development and explore multiple models of career progression. Participants will engage in guided activities designed to help them clarify personal goals and identify viable career pathways both within and beyond the UNT system.
Speaker:
Dr. Gabe Ignatow
UNT Interim Vice Provost for Faculty Success and Academic Affairs Policy Director, IRB Chairperson, and Professor of Sociology.
Please RSVP by February 17, 2026.
