Program 

Lumia Musica is an annual collaboration between the New Media Cooperative out of CVAD and Composers Forum to create new multimedia works within a short time frame for presentation in the MEIT. This event is designed to bridge the two organizations together and highlight the talents of their members. Past events produced works that have been presented at galleries and festivals including the Leicester Convergance in the UK. 

Composers and artists are randomly paired together before the event and given one week to produce a collaborative work. Past years included works for which featured animation, found footage, live performance,  AI-generated imagery, instrument sculptures, ambisonic multmedia pieces, and works for video, dancers, and fixed media. This is an exciting opportunity for composers and artists of all levels to practice their skills in collaboration, multimedia art production, and multi-disciplinary work.
