Join us for our Legal Lunch and Learn series, featuring Dr. Haley Zettler from the UNT Department of Criminal Justice who will be talking about the challenges faced by individuals reentering the community following incarceration.

Individuals returning to the community after incarceration face significant barriers to successful reintegration. These challenges include but are not limited to housing, employment, parole conditions, and health-related needs.

Haley Zettler is an Associate Professor at the University of North Texas. She is the first instructor to teach an Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program course in Texas. Her research interests are centered on the role that trauma, mental health, and substance use has among system-impacted individuals as well as programs and practices in community corrections.. Prior to academia, she was an adult probation officer.
