Kids can learn about forensic investigations involving hair and walk through a crash investigation with sketching and photography, make slime for casting, check out police equipment and eat pizza and ice cream at the UNT Police Department's free Forensic Fun Day Friday, July 17, in Denton. There is a morning session from 9 a.m. to noon for 5 to 9-year-olds and an afternoon session from 1 to 4 p.m. for 10 to 14-year-olds. Email Sgt. Cory Lane at cory.lane@unt.edu by June 26 to RSVP.
