 LB) at the UNT Denton campus. The purpose of First-Gen Experience is to pr
 ovide first-generation students entering their first year of college with 
 a crash-course in college readiness before the start of their first semest
 er. By attending this event\, you will have the opportunity to meet other 
 first-gen students\, connect with valuable campus resources\, and discover
  strategies to make your first year at UNT a success! \n\n \n\nParents\, g
 uardians\, and families are encouraged to attend the Family Session for Fi
 rst-Gen Experience on Saturday\, August 8th\, 2026 from  9:30 A.M. to 11:3
 0 A.M. in the Ground Floor of the Business Leadership Building (BLB) at th
 e UNT Denton campus. While students participate in First-Gen Experience\, 
 family members will have the opportunity to hear from campus staff\, learn
  more about our campus resources\, and ask questions concerning their stud
 ent's transition to college. This session is designed to equip families wi
 th the information and tools needed to support their student's success at 
 UNT and develop a greater understanding of the resources available to thei
 r student.\n\n \n\nThis event Includes free lunch and a limited-edition fi
 rst-gen T-shirt for students ONLY.\n\nRegistration is required for both th
