The Division of Research and Innovation partners with the AtKisson Training Group LLC to offer this annual faculty development series.  This seminar integrates strategic research planning with updated, agency-aligned proposal development techniques-equiping faculty for the 2026 funding cycle.

This session will combine lecture-style guidance with practical exercises, covering: 

• Key preparation steps before beginning the writing process
• Techinques for crafting a compelling argument for your project
• Strategies for clearly communicating your research approach
• How proposal components align with federal review processes
• Ways to make proposal development part of everyday academic activity
• Approaches for longer-term research planning and funding success
