The UNT Mentoring Program invites all faculty to an in-person webinar watch party of NCFDD’s “Cultivating Your Network of Mentors, Sponsors & Collaborators” on February 10, 2-4 p.m., in Willis 250H. The UNT Faculty Mentoring Program, like NCFDD, embraces a network model of mentoring that encourages faculty to draw on the expertise of multiple different mentors, sponsors, and collaborators across a variety of domains faculty work. “Cultivating Your Network of Mentors, Sponsors & Collaborators” will lead faculty through brainstorming who could be part of their network of support and will suggest strategies for identifying and securing new collaborators. Although all faculty can benefit from the webinar, it will be particularly useful for early career faculty and those at a career transition point.
