About this Event
Free EventEight Hands is a group show featuring the works of four University of North Texas alumni artists, on view at the UNT CoLab from October 6 – 28. The common thread between these artists is their decision to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree later in life.
Phil Samson is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores connecting analytical and creative thinking within science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical research fields to spur innovation.
Susan Seaborn is a painter working primarily in oil, and paints the people, objects and spaces around her.
Marianna Seaton is a multidisciplinary artist whose work considers personal habits, systems of everyday survival, and concerns for the environment and humanity.
Jim Wilson considers his work as an adventure, and journey without a clear outcome in mind. He explores texture and rich layers, with a focus on square and cubic elements; a direct link to his experience as an architect.
This exhibition is FREE and open to the public.
