DAY HIKE AND HORSEBACK RIDE- Registration open October 27^th-November 10^th

Heard Wildlife Sanctuary, McKinney, TX

Join us as we travel to Heard Wildlife Sanctuary for a day of hiking and horseback riding! We’ll take a guided tour through the park, taking in all the sights it has to offer!

Leaving early in the morning, we will drive together as a group about 1.5 hours northeast of Denton to Heard Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival, we’ll take a guided horseback riding tour through the park’s trails, followed by a hike to explore its diverse wildlife and scenic views. We’ll stop for lunch (please bring your own meal) before heading back to UNT by mid to late afternoon. 

Upon registering for this trip, you will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting on November 11^th from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.Here you will meet your trip leaders and fellow participants, receive more in-depth information about the trip and what to bring, and provide our staff with medical and emergency contact information.
