Green Belt Elm Fork, Trinity River, TX
Have you ever wanted to canoe? Spend a day with us while we teach the basics of paddling on the beautiful Trinity River's Green Belt.
This trip will consist of spending a few hours on the water, learning and developing various canoe skills. Starting early in the morning, we will drive about 20 minutes southeast of Denton to a section of the Trinity River, where we will unload canoes and go through paddle school. After paddling for a few hours, we will eat lunch (you must bring your own meal) and return to UNT by mid-late afternoon.
Upon registering for this trip, you will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting on March 18th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Here, you will meet your trip leaders and fellow participants, receive more in-depth information about the trip and what to bring, and provide our staff with medical and emergency contact information.
