Greenbelt Elm Fork, Trinity River, TX

Ever wanted to canoe? Spend a day with us while we teach the basics of paddling on the beautiful Greenbelt of the Trinity River.

Starting early in the morning, we will drive together as a group just North of Denton, where we will unload gear and prepare to canoe. After exploring the river for a few hours, we will eat lunch (must bring your own meal) and head back to UNT by mid-late afternoon.

Upon registering for this trip, you will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting on July 29^th from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Here you will meet your trip leaders and fellow participants, receive more in-depth information about the trip and what to bring, and provide our staff with medical and emergency contact information.
