Based on the infamous 1925 case of Ruth Snyder, who murdered her husband after starting an affair, this play follows the life of young Helen and how life leads her down this dangerous path. Set in New York in the 1920s, Helen's life as a telephone operator changes quickly once her boss proposes to her at work.
