DESCRIPTION:The College of Visual Arts and Design will host 20 high school 
 juniors and seniors for a summer day camp.\n\n \n\nThe CVAD Foundations pr
 ogram and the Onstead Institute have collaborated once more to offer a thr
 ee-week day camp from June 3–21\, 2024. Students will learn how art and 
 design practices can be used to investigate and communicate ideas\, tell s
 tories\, identify problems and determine solutions! \n\n \n\nThe camp allo
 ws rising juniors and seniors in high school to engage in critical thinkin
 g skills through creative means. Students will participate in activities d
 esigned by CVAD faculty that foster visual problem-solving and skills-base
 d making.\n\n \n\nCampers will explore color theory\, design thinking\, ob
 servational drawing\, digital illustration\, typography\, graphic novels\,
  and other topics at the college’s facilities. CVAD’s art building boa
 sts an array of cutting-edge resources and equipment — a stimulating env
 ironment for young learners. Previous artmaking experience is not required
 \; campers of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend.\n\n \n\nCamp Infor
