https://vpaa.unt.edu/fs/development/teaching/civil-discourse-in-teaching-workshop.htmlJoin the LEEF Teaching Hub, Faculty Success, and the Faculty Senate for a 90-minute hybrid workshop focused on navigating real-time classroom dialogue challenges and designing classroom environments that foster respectful, constructive conversations. Participants will explore classroom scenarios and hear from two expert panels — UNT faculty and UNT administrators — offering practical strategies, policy insights, and approaches to promoting civil discourse. Workshops are open to ALL UNT educators (faculty, graduate students, and staff).
All workshops in the series will cover the same content, so participants only need to register for one session. All sessions will take place in the University Union Room 332 and will be livestreamed via Zoom.
In-person seating is limited to 50 people per session. Register to attend in person.
