In an era where artificial intelligence is reshaping how we teach and learn, promoting digital literacy and critical thinking has never been more essential. While it might seem like all students need to know about using AI is how to provide a good prompt, effective and responsible use of AI is much more complex! In this intermediate-level workshop, we will explore strategies for faculty to help students engage with AI tools more critically, understand their capabilities and limitations, and reflect on ethical implications. Participants will consider practical classroom activities and assignment designs that promote thoughtful, responsible use and critical evaluation of AI by students.
