Join the American Chemical Society as we host UNT's very own Master Scientific Glassblower, Mr. Roger Ramirez, for an inside look into his remarkable career! With decades of experience, he is the only scientific master glass blower in the DFW area. He collaborates closely with scientists to repair, design, and create custom instruments, blending craftmanship with scientific problem-solving to support research across multiple universities. Due to his artistry and technical skill, he also has a contract with the Department of Defense, in addition to being a member-owner of High Tech Scientific Glass, LLC, a family owned and operated supplier of specialized scientific lab glassware.
