Abstract

Executives and researchers are increasingly turned to digital twins as a means to digitally replicate their manufacturing processes and end-to-end supply chain to identify new opportunities to leverage existing processes, people, and assets within their firm, their supplier network, and in their customers’ downstream operations.  Digital twins replicate real-world operations, capture ground floor processes and transform them into a live data stream. Then, through the lens of artificial intelligence, decision-makers and researchers can identify the critical variations that are causing inefficiency, lower production or unsafe environments – in real time.  This session provides key insights into how leading organizations are using digital twins to drive supply chain performance and to identify new opportunities for reducing time, labor, and waste across firms.
