Online Health: How to Find the Latest and Best Information for Consumers and Clinicians

Plus the Affordable Care Act for Librarians and Patrons

More people than ever are seeking healthcare information on the Internet, and there are thousands of websites offering health-related information. All websites, however, are not equally reliable; and not all health websites provide high-quality information.

Come learn how to search the Web to find accurate, trustworthy health information for both clinicians and consumers at Online Health, an interactive workshop for librarians.

John Fullinwider, Associate Director of Clinical Information Support for the library at Baylor, will lead the session and will be available afterwards to work directly with you one-to-one. In addition, the workshop will provide an overview of the Affordable Care Act. Participants will receive a ready-to-use set of slides and materials to explain the ACA to patrons.
