Merchandising Training Program: January 2013
Our Merchandising Training Program consists of a 6-month rotation, which includes both classroom and on-the-job training. During training you will spend time in the distribution center and in our stores while the remainder of the program is spent in a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job training in merchandising offices. You will have the opportunity to voice your opinions and have them heard by our CEO, Senior Leadership Team and other Zale Corporation executives. Upon successful completion of the program, you will become an Assistant Merchant at our corporate headquarters in Irving, TX.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising/Retail, Finance, Business or related majors preferred. Minimum 3.0 GPA and experience in retail are strongly preferred. U.S. citizen or permanent work status required.
Summer Internship Program
It's more than just a summer job. Our Internship Program consists of a 10-week curriculum, which includes classroom, on-the-job training and social events. You will have the opportunity to apply your academic theories and concepts to real world business challenges. We are looking for interns in the following business units at our corporate office in Irving, TX:
- Merchandising/Buying
- Merchandising Planning
- Souring
- E-Commerce
Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Merchandising/Retail, Finance, Business or related majors preferred. Minimum 3.0 GPA and experience in retail are strongly preferred. U.S. citizen or permanent work status required.
