Art and Heritage of UAEMex at UNT
An exhibition of work from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM).
Works by Mexican artists Agapito Rincon Pina, Leopoldo Flores, and Armando Pineda will be on display at UNT on the Square Oct. 10 through Nov. 7 as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the research connection between the University of North Texas and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) in Toluca. All of the works are part of the permanent collection at the University Museum at UAEM) in Toluca.
After a nine-year-old academic, faculty-to-faculty, research-based relationship, UNT and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) jointly developed an innovative internationalization idea: an Academic Liaison Office, whose grassroots would be the foundation for greater communication and development between both institutions.
