Attention UNT Faculty,
CLEAR has just issued a request for proposals for the 2012-2013 Learning Enhancement Grant Program. The Learning Enhancement Grant (LEG) Program is an annual, competitive award program sponsored by the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and administered by the Center for Learning Enhancement, Assessment, and Redesign (CLEAR). The goal of the LEG program is to support the development of online and blended learning courses and programs that meet nationally-recognized standards for online course design. Ensuring that the university's online and blended courses provide not only improved access to higher education, but also to the highest quality education, aligns with goals 1 and 2 of the University's four bold goals.face
For FY 2012-2013, the Learning Enhancement Program seeks applicants who are committed to developing online and blended courses that meet nationally-recognized standards of excellence in online course design. Eligibility, funding levels, requirements, and instructions for submitting a proposal are provided in the RFP linked below along with the LEG application form. The 2012-2013 Learning Enhancement Grant application deadline is November 21, 2012.
Questions regarding this internal award program may be directed to Jane Himmel at 940.369.8137 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Notification of awards will be made on November 30, 2012.
Note: CLEAR also offers the opportunity for full course redesign through the Next Generation Course Redesign™ project and for partial course redesign through the Transformative Instructional Initiative (TII).
